The oversize heads of the Engine Builders valves positionthe valve head at the original height, which is much betterthan standard head valves installed in re-machined valveseats. Also, the installed stem height is within tolerance, eliminating the need to grind the tips.

Materials:
The exhaust valves are one-piece design and made of the finest chrome and high nickel stainless steel alloy, providing superior resistance to fatigue and high temperatures. The intake valves are made of HNV-3 alloy, the same material used in diesel intake valves, and a better alloy than is used in many of today's new engines. You get premium-quality valves without increasing your production costs.

Stem finish:
The Rebuilder's Valve has a stem finish of 17 RMS or better, far superior to the more typical 22 to 28 RMS finish found on most aftermarket valves. The result is longer life for seals and guides and greater valve durability.

Chrome Plating:
All our valves have a triple-flash hard-chrome plating that is .0002" per side, with the specified finish for better oil retention, improved resistance to galling and greater durability.
