Where has the time gone? I began my career at Enginetech in 1989 as an Inside Salesman, then went through a progression of jobs until becoming General Manager in 1998, and a co-owner of the biz in 2000 with my mentor and partner Fred Currey.
I pride myself on having really smart people around me – all very passionate about pleasing our customers. It’s what has permitted our company to weather the economic storms of the past few years – vibrant, robust, and aggressive, ready to reap even more rewards in the future.
I’ve been married for 23 years with two unbelievably great kids. I have three main passions outside of Enginetech – music, (I play bass in both a Beatles and an REM tribute band), muscle cars, and railroads.
I am one incredibly lucky guy.

1963 - Started work in the automotive service industry at age nine (yes, nine, I worked for my grandfather at his Enco service station).
1973 – Graduated J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas.
1975 – Graduated Texas State Technical College Waco, Texas. Degree in MET (Mechanical Engineering Technology).
1975 to 1984 – Worked as an automotive technician & shop foreman in Dallas and Plano Texas. Became ASE Certified Master Technician.
1984 to 1990 – Owned and operated Hunter Automotive in Plano, Texas.
1994 to Present – Engineering & Product Development Enginetech Inc.
Hobbies – Weekend Ranching, Motorcycles, Cooking & Cocktails.
Family – Married thirty four years to Sheri. One daughter, Ashley 32 years old. One son, Hunter II 28 years old.

After receiving my accounting degree from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and my CPA, I began my career auditing financial statements and preparing tax returns for a CPA firm in Montgomery, AL. After way too many tax seasons, and two kids who demanded more time, I switched gears and went to work for a bank headquartered in Alabama. My husband, John, was transferred to Dallas in 1999 and I continued to work in banking until I was given a wonderful opportunity to become part of the Enginetech team in May 2002. I am a huge sports fan, all kinds including NASCAR (go #99), and an avid runner.

Born and raised in Northern, Calif. I attended an automotive trade program during and after High School. Started from oil changer to general tech to diag. tech to managing franchise repair shops and then opened Steve's Auto Care Facilities; 3 stores total! After selling my shops, I taught the Skip Barber Race Engine Program as lead instructor for 2 years, then off to Dallas and ended up here!!
Married 24 years to my beautiful wife Debbie, my daughter Tiffany (25) is an Assistant Director in child care, my son Steven (21) Graduated UCR and is now teaching English in Korea. I love cooking, deep sea fishing and anything that has to do with the ocean. Ambitions are to be "internally successful" and to live on the water.

I have been a member of the Enginetech team since 1999. It has been great to work in a place surrounded by automobile enthusiasts like myself, and people who strive for customer service. I was lucky enough to marry my high school sweetheart Becky and I am happy to say we are still going. We traded our city house for a place in the country where we enjoy raising horses. Other passions include muscle cars, fishing and NASCAR.

I have worked for Enginetech, Inc. in various capacities for over a decade. Prior to joining the Enginetech team, I worked for Allied Signal as the quality manager, overseeing the Dallas and Houston R&O facilities. I went to schools in Arkansas & Texas. I am also a veteran of the US Army, having spent my enlistment with the 101st Airborne Division. I live in Ft. Worth with my lovely wife and our dog Lucy (who flunked out of bomb sniffing school). I am an avid reader, spending a great deal of time looking for old books.
